These are just my perspective of Atkins Diet. I posted my other success video link in the success story forum, but I have done a number of "how to" videos, and I wanted to at least post them in one thread. They are not gospel like the book is, but they might help you understand some point of the diet. If you've read my posts here, you have probably saw me write the same things as I put in my videos, so nothing should come as a big surprise. Well done Kent,

I loved your videos and it is because of you I started to exercise now. Currently do 35-45 mins of brisk walking at least 4 times a week.

The videos aswell as yourself have given me motivations and have thus far helped me remain focused and on track with my Atkins Diet - failure is not an option. You have been a great mentor.

I enlisted in the National Guard for one year to determine if it was right for me and my family again. I did a 2 month military retraining in that year, which was tough on my family. As my enlistment came up for renew - May 2006, I received the call if I was to reenlist I would be deployed within the week. At that point, my wife said enough. I respected her wishes and did not reenlist. There are still times I wonder if I did the right thing, but I did it at least on my (or my family's) terms.

On service side, I still volunteer my time quite extensively in the community with youth and as a EMT/Fireman.

Well, if the wife is not happy the home is not happy, so good choice. I am in IT as well and see the crunch of the economy coming, but I would have made the same choice, even though the military holds greater job security at this point in time. What is your next video?

Hi Kent, I just want to say thanks for your video entitled goal. I started the low carb. lifestyle on Feb 1st and watch the goal video daily. I have gone from 375lbs. down to 337 in 6 weeks. Everytime I feel like cheating, I watch that video and it, no you, inspired me. Thanks.
