Re: Your A-ha piece of clothing

Thanks 2big and Kent! I always had a dream that I would fit back into those clothes (they no longer were clothes but symbols of a better body), so I could never throw them out.

So, Kent, you are smaller now than you were in college? That's really great!

I remember way back when I had a pair of Lady Wrangler jeans that were a 29 waist and I thought that was big!!!!! I was 18 years old back when Urban Cowboy was big and everybody was wearing western garb especially in Texas where we live. LOL I don't still have that pair in my jeans collection. I also remember going on a trip to San Antonio when my husband and I were first together (I weighed maybe 125-130) and I forgot a long pair of pants so he let me wear his. He wore a 32 waist Wrangler boot cut jeans. I remember they were too big and I had to hold them up with my hand every time we got out of the car on the drive home that weekend!!!! LOL

Choeve, Ditto here! Except mine were a pair of Levi 501, button-fly 29 waist/32 length. I still have them! I don't think I'll be able to get back to that size (I was sooo much younger then...) but I'm shooting for a slightly larger size 501's (mostly because if I can get my big rear into those slim jeans...I will have succeeded. ).

Great post, G-mom. And you look great -- love the new photos!

I'm like Kent (well not quite like Kent b/c I'm nowhere near goal!) -- all my pre-fat clothes are long gone. But, what I covet is a great pair of Levi's (for women) that I can buy at a "regular" store in a "regular" size. (I always thought the cut of Levis made my butt look smaller.)
