Re: Night time Burning
For me it's the opposite--I'm much colder than I was before, probably because I'm losing my "insulation"...

Re: Night time Burning
Not every night, but definitely more frequently on Atkins I wake up completely drenched in sweat. Actually, this has been happening since I quit smoking and started running. I don't know the reason for it.~Joy

Puma, have you checked the temperature in your home? Is it room temperature? If not maybe you could try a fan (although it might cause head colds in the morning!!)~Lisa

Re: Night time Burning
How old are you? I have been having this happen too and my mother suggested I could be having symptoms relating to early menopause. I'm only 36, but my mother started having symptoms about 10 years before the real thing.
I have also wondered if it is due to changing metabolism. I am still chilly during the day, but sometimes at night I get really hot. I am usually freezing when I go to bed.Michele SW250/CW 226/GW150 F, 38, 5'6"
I was down to 175 in 2007 and I will get back there again!

Re: Night time Burning
I have had this problem virtually my entire adult life. I just get the room as cold as I can (often, in the winter, by opening a window) and pile on the cover. As I get warmer, I start taking them off. Sometimes by the early hours of the a.m., I'm using nothing but a sheet.
And it definitely AIN'T menopause -- early or otherwise!-Chris
