      I think those might be a crock too, although a much less expenie and dangerous one. While I was looking for info on the other kind I read where its just really not necessary at all to clean your colon. I know if you do decide to do it you need to be dedicated to doing it for a few weeks for it to completely do the job.

        I "clean" my colon by eating high fiber vegetables (like Jicama, broccoli, greens) and drinking lots of water

            that is the best way to do it! if one is really in need of some fiber bulk to help the passage of things, a little metamucil or similar is all you need. the psyllium (sp?) husk fiber being the ingredient that helps is what you should look for when seeking to buy one of those.
