Hebrew National is a good one. No sugars and 1 carb.

If I eat a hot dog, I eat Hebrew National also. I only have about 2 a year though.

Really? I had no idea about the hot dogs. I have seen some with fillers and sugar in them but the nathans hot dogs don't have them so I assumed I could eat them. Better to stay away or make them an occasional food?

I eat either Hebrew National or Nathans skinless ones.

They're fine to eat too. Just don't have them too often.

Just my two senses -- these little puppies taste good and spurred my sguar cravings like no one's business. I had to kick them to the curb for good!

If you can handle one, once in a while, okay. Of course, it is always better to stick with real whole food as much as you can.

              Good luck!

Re: what do you think of this? ( I know, Frankenfood!)

With any of the processed 'lowcarb' foods you do need to make sure they only contain 'legal' ingredients for whichever stage of Atkins you are at.

So look at the list of ingredients and if ALL the ingredients are listed on the 'allowed foods for induction' they would be induction-allowed but if not you need to work out on which rung of OWL they ARE allowed.

So if they contain induction legal ingredients plus nuts or seeds they would not be allowed till the nuts/seeds rung. If however they contain flour made from wheat/rye/rice etc they would not be allowed till you reach the highest rung of OWL (grains).
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
