    It comes with an abs routine that's really good and the slim n limber stretching video that's really good too. I think you'll like it. I know you'll like the results.

        I ordered all of mine from Beachbody.com, but I have seen the Slim in 6 workouts at Target.

        Tell e. that being on the road is no excuse for not working out!!! Workout bands are very portable, and we've used these DVDs when we've gone on vacation by playing them on a laptop or a portable DVD player.

        As far as seeing results, you will get out of it what you put into it. By that I mean, if you're just doing the moves half-heartedly and not putting forth real effort into the moves, the inches won't come off. Otherwise, you'll see results, especially when you've moved on to the 3rd DVD, Burn it up! The pixie works you out HARD and it lives up to its name.....you'll feel the burning!

          i am hurting already! he does want to do it and it sounds like something he can take on the road!!! goody!

          is there a set amount of time you spend on each DVD...and does it tell you WHEN to move to the next one?

          AND...once you get to the last one can you do it indefinitely??

            They say to move up as you feel ready. I think I spent a week on the first tape, a couple of weeks on the second and went to the third (can you say sadistic tendencies? I know you can!) You're not really supposed to stay on the third tape forever. She has a breakdown of post-loss workouts (maintenance stuff). There is a tape called Keep It Off.

            Be ready to curse religions that you didn't even know existed when you start climbing stairs! Little things like - oh, I don't know - SCRATCHING MY NOSE became painful!! But ... it was a good kind of pain, you know - like I was doing SOMETHING.


            Restart -10/18/2009 - 204.6 lbs (UGH!!!)
            Goal 1 - under 200 - met 10/19/2009
            Goal 2 - 190 - met 10/25/2009
            Goal 3 - 180
            Goal 4 - 170
            Goal 5 - 160
            Goal 6 - 150

            Goal - To zip up current pants without sucking it in-10/25/09
            Goal - To need a belt/roll waistband of current pants

                No, no, no - refusal is NOT an option!! It'll hurt so good!! (okay. Now THAT song is playing in my head!) Everytime you ache, you'll think - "I am so much closer to my goal". My thoughts were "That's what I get for eating all those desserts last year".

                Sometimes, with this WOE, it's really painless, you know? Too easy. This workout reminds me that I want to earn my sexy self back, and I'm willing to do what it takes to get there. (except, of course - you know - STARVE! 'cuz I like eating WAAAYYY too much!).

                You'll get through the first video. I had to stop a couple of times through it the first time. My goal was to stop one less time, each time I did the video. That was my gauge when I wanted to move up. Once I could get through the whole thing without stopping, I could move on. Expect to have to stop. It's okay. I think I drank four or five glasses of water WHILE I was doing the tape (had it on the table next to me).

                YOU CAN DO THIS!!! Keep us updated on your progress - make sure that you take the measurements!! You'll be surprised to see how quickly they change. That booklet said minimal change in the first week or two, slight change in the third and fourth week, major change in the fifth and sixth week - that's what I found, too. I did gain a couple of pounds when I started (and lost when I finished the series). Someone said it was the muscles holding onto a bit more water.

                  you are right...refusal is NOT an option! and i DO want my sexy self back. e. is always telling my how sexy i look to him but he is BIASED. i feel sexy when i can wear my black bustier and black satin wrap around blouse i was wearing on our first date!!! THAT is my clothing goal (20 pounds ago)

                  had you been exercising at all when you started? i just do mostly cardio now....i USED to work with weights when i went to the gym.....

                  i don't mind the sore muscle thing too much...thank goodness i do not have stairs in my house! but my bed is high off the ground! that feeling feels like success

                  i just want to get thru it without dying...HELP COCO!!!! I'VE FALLEN AND I CAN'T GET UP!

                  i will surely tell all of you when i start...maybe post my measurements each week for the 6 weeks...won't THAT make me accountable?!!!! scary. i will start a slim in 6 thread when i do

                    I did Start it up for two days, then Ramp it up for for the rest of the week and the week after. The last four weeks were Burn. You work out 6 out of 7 days a week. Each video has a timer and a visual cue to let you know when you'll move on to the next grouping of moves.

                    I wouldn't measure each week. Just do before and then after 6 weeks so that you'll have a nice surprise.

                    Technically, you could continue to work out with just Burn, but you'll Burn-out. Personally, I like to mix & match with my workouts.

                    Drink lots of water and take your supplements!

                      I hadn't really been exercising at all. I *thought* I had - I coach high school boys soccer and run around with them ( a bit)

                      Not dying is ALWAYS an admirable goal - hold firmly to it!! lol! That WAS my goal as well - 'please Lord, don't let me die when everyone is at work or at school!!'

                      Tell ya what - I've been 'off the plan' for six weeks now. I'll start again with you. (please note that I'm also doing this couch to 5K thing - whew!!) I'll start tomorrow (still have to run tonight). Be warned - I whine..... alot.....

                        Let us know when you get the tapes!!! I'll suffer with you, too! However, I've been in the Vidiot's challenge, where most of us are doing, or have done gazillion of times over, the various BB workouts.

                          thanks bio! good info. i will drink buckets of water and i am good with the supplements.how will i ever be able to wait for 6 weeks??? (that OCD thing i have!)

                              Ok I'll go to Target tomorrow and if they have them, I'll buy 'em and do the workouts too. I whine a lot too so we'll be good company HA HA! I NEED to do this though because my stomach is not going to go away with diet alone I think.....
