  • Statistics on Blood Work

I wanted to report my good news after having my cholesterol and triglycerides checked. Beed doing Atkins since May 29 and eating lots of high saturated fats, such as beef, cream, and butter. I sometimes wondered (especially during the beginning) if it was heathy. Last week my fears were put to rest. My total cholesterol is well below 200. Good cholesterol (hdl) is 71 and ldl is 100. I am so happy. My triglycerides were also excellent!

Hey, congratulations. It's kind of odd right? Seems counter intuitive that that would be the case. I guess that comes from all those years of getting warning after warning of too much fat when it should have been warning about too much fat with too many carbs.

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
