I had a fight with a friend who said the atkins diet was not healthy... it was the easy way out... OOOHHH I was mad. I asked her what she ate that day and if she was hungry... she told me and yes she was hungry. I told her I'm never hungry.. in fact for lunch that day 2 small salmon fillets with a side cup of broccoli and a cup of raspberries. Whats dieting about that? Well I cannot wait to tell her today that I finally weighed myself (I said i would not for 2 months) and that I've already lost 20.5 lbs and that was at night after dinner. As far as it being the easy way out I beg to differ... I work my tail off. Literally. I walk over 4 miles briskly mostly up hill 4 days a week and tae bo 3. So who is better off of her diet! Now I feel like a snickers in celebration.. but I refrained and "cheated" with an atkins bar. I know their labels lie but I had the carbs to spare anyway. Best of Luck to everyone trying to lose!!! This diet works.
