Hello,
I am still confused about the guidelines regarding saturated fats in DANDR 2002.
Anyone!
regards
That's because there are none. Dr. Atkins said to eat natural fats---butter and other animal fats, vegetable oils like olive oil. The fat we avoid is hydrogenated fats and trans fats--so no margarine or vegetable shortening.

When you roast the the lamb. Remove the roast from the tray. Tip the drippings into a glass.
Drink the whole glass in one sitting. (Make sure it has cooled a little).
Also advisable for chicken roasts.
End of Guidelines.
Haaa Haaa Haaa. That reminds me of all the myths about Atkins the low fat and vegetarians always spew to scare people away. It's a shame, though, that people actually believe those idiots.
If it's a natural fat, it's fine. If man has messed around with it (not counting harvest and pressing) then avoid like the plague.
