    My advice for the holidays? PLAN AHEAD .. work out a legal menu - include treats like crustless pumpkin pie .. you can even make lovely "choccies" with coconut oil and cocoa. I found if I "cheated" that the next day I would have a booming headache - not nice at all. You will find that planning menus for holidays is much easier once you get up to the nuts and berries rungs as you can make lovely cakes and desserts

            One thing I've notices is that NO ONE takes notice of what's on someone else's plate.. We're all to interested in our own plate. Just Make your regular
            Thanksgiving meal... add a few of your favorite Atkins dishes.. I'd add green beans, cauliflower with Cheese and spaghetti squash with butter, Baked pumpkin!!

            I'd put all the low carb things at the front of the Buffet line with the Turkey in the middle.. and fill my plate.. When I got to the end of the low carb item's I just get out of line and not even walk past the carb traps... That way I'd have plenty to eat and once I'm full I'm not tempted by stuffing, potatoes or yams..

                    I will post the flax stuffing on the holiday recipe thread. I have to have a really painful procedure at the hospital tomorrow and it will take a couple of days before I can use my arms much, but I will get it posted before Thanksgiving--even Canadian Thanksgiving, which is this month.
