I have just been reading a magazine in which a woman is on about getting fit the safe way. She boasts losing 45% of her body weight in a year and dropping 9 stone (126lb).
She does not say how, except that exercise was part of the process. Is that safely achievable?
I lost half that (4 stone in ten months), but that was only 19% of my starting body weight.

I know I can safely lose 50 lbs in a month. I have done it twice, once under a doctor's care. To have the consistency of keeping it up and sticking with... haven't had that till now. All in all... I think it is very safe and awesome that she did it!!!
