It's so easy to get down and disappointed when the stupid scale doesn't show any loss, or even worse, a gain. Last week was a great example of this for me. Last Sunday I weighed in at 218.2. Still being a slave to the scale (though trying to get free), I went up to 219.6 for most of the week, finishing on Sunday at 219.2. Real easy to get down and start looking to a Taco Bell bean burrito for comfort. After all, I did everything right but gained weight, right?
Well, this morning I was at 218.0! For me, it seems like right when I am at my weakest when I look at the scale and see a big change. Worst enemy/best friend.
