  • Not gonna do it!

I work overnights, and someone just brought in a box full of donuts. Whenever my body sees something like that, I panic, and it tries to convince me that I have to have as many as I can stuff in my tummy as soon as possible.

I've been doing Atkins since July but haven't been that committed. I recommitted myself this week to no more telling myself that "just one donut won't hurt".

After i started to panic, I took a deep breath and told myself that "nothing changes if nothing changes". I sternly told the side of me that was panicking that I will NOT have a donut, and then felt good about being in control of my eating. I know if I have one donut, I'll have to have 3, even 4 if I can. I feel so much better on the Atkins WOE that I don't want to ruin a great week on induction.

Besides, I have some delicious Cauliflower & Ham bisque waiting for me. It's a much better choice than a donut, which would severely depress me if I ate it!

Good job! It can be tough to resist these temptations but working through them one by one does make it easier as time goes on.

          Well done Tracy

The more times you resist, the easier it gets too!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
