      Wow I am tired. Today was expcessially hard. I managed not too eat any popcorn and cheescake ... even when my stress level reached a all new high. I was so very tired that I did have coffee ... maybe tomuch. I am starting to go in to ketosis per my dip sticks.

      As far as my cholesterol go ... I read in Dr. A book that he has some supplement that will help with lowering cholesterol. When I get paid I am going to the health store .. naturs cubard and get the Atkins cholesterol. I looked it up on line and has several vitamins and minerals all natarul that contribut to lowering cholesterol. I already had some vitamine c and chromium picolinate that Dr. A listed on page 277 of the paperpak New diet revolution. I also looked up the red rice pills they are both at Natur's cupboard store.

      I have ran the treadmill 45 min every day along with 80 crunches or more.
      But I am exhuasted ... I am actually starting to like my body.... I am amazed at the changes taking place.

          Hey everyone,

          Well I am just about to pass out here, I'm super exhausted. I am doing good on my weight loss but I've slipped and today is day 3 without exercising. Tomorrow I am on it!! I am feeling very proud of myself which makes me not want to cheat...I'm loving this feeling. I am feeling way more in control of the foods I eat even throughout the rough patches. Yes, it does get hard but I just keep thinking of how awesome I'll look and FEEL when I reach my goal.

          Anyways, I hope you all have a fabulous ATKINS friendly weekend!!

            Goodmorning everyone.

            It felt nice to finally catch up on my sleep and its even more nice that my parents aren't at home, either. Of course, I was a real witch last night, but thats because I am freaking out about the finals that I still have going on for the next week. I have one today for my anatomy class, in my lab. Ya. That makes me really nervous. I think I should know my stuff by now because I do wake up and I do remember what I learned previously.

            My allergies aren't getting any better and I swear I am getting enough veggies, but I haven't had any movement for 2 days now. I really hate that. Yesterday I had a cup of romaine lettuce for a snack, then for lunch, 8 asparagus spears, and for dinner another cup of romaine with other stuff in it. =/ I don't know. I can't afford to buy anything, so that really sucks and the only effective thing for me to actually use the restroom is taking a laxative the night before....

            Enough of the TMI, other than that, I am having cravings, but totally and completly ignorning them like the good atkinite I am. =) Still in ketosis and tonight will be 3 weeks cheatfree. I intend on weighing myself tomorrow morning to see how much I have lost these past few days and because it will be three weeks. =)

            Well, I need to bbq my steaks that I have lined up for me for the next few days and study my arse off until I have to go to class at 10am. Love ya guys.

              Hmm, I'm getting concerned here... Where is everyone? I know its the weekend and all, but wouldn't there be any chance to write an update or anything like that? I miss you guys and if we all stick together, we will be able to accomplish our goals easier, don't you think?

              I sent a message to Brian, and I haven't heard back from him either. I'm very concerned about him, especially him, since we had that one conversation that one night. I hope we didn't scare him off and I most certainly hope that he hasn't jumped off the wagon. I'm praying for him, as we speak, and I hope he will see results when Wednesday comes around. Poor guy. =( Wish he could post an update for us, though, cause that's what we're all about.

              Anyway, as for me, I need to get some metamucil or some fiber thing, because I can't take laxatives every 5 days just to get rid of stuff in my system. Its very painful and I honestly don't like it that way, either. I just need more money in order to do it, though, so if you guys have any suggestions, hit me up. I have increased my fiber intake, as I had my first half artichoke last night and I am still in full on ketosis.

              Ever since I Have ceased drinking water after 8 or 9, I get these mad cravings for drinking more water in the middle of the night and my mouth tastes so very weird. =/ Is it okay to drink a little water at night, or will that mess with the scale in the morning, when I do have to weigh? I know the Kidneys, on average excrete 1.5 Litres of Urine a day, but with this Way of lIfe, I believe it's more....

              Did you know that our kidneys filter through 45 gallons of stuff a day. I honestly did not know that, most of it goes back into our system because it's necessary for us to have it, and then we end up releasing our urine to the outside world only 1.5 litres/day....wow.

              Enough of that, I should start getting ready for work and all that jazz.

                Hi Bekka,

                I know what you mean about drinking at night. I won’t bother though and drink as much water as I can drink, don’t care about the scale much it will drop eventually.

                As for me, I went out with friends yesterday to a seafood restaurant.. Was really good, had what they call “trio” (shrimp skewer, small grilled salmon steam and small NY steak).. was really good.. yummy.. Yea.. and I made a cheesecake for desert (induction friendly).. was good too.

                So, overall I am doing fine.. haven’t cheated since I started Atkins. My first two days on Atkins (that I have excluded off my induction later) were off, was little ignorant about how this woe works. I am in the middle of the book now and I spend almost an hour a day with the wife reading articles, papers, researches about atkins. She is a dentist and she understands all these medical terms that I don’t have a clue how they are even pronounced sometimes..

                Very hard to get on any sort of exercise routine with all of what I do.. Work *at least* 8 to 5pm, under call 24x7, take care of the kids studies, homework, etc.. attending classes on the weekend, studying, etc. (doing my 2nd masters).. It is REALLY hard.. but still manage to find time to check this excellent forum and interact with others.. It is also getting harder as we approach Christmas, but I am sure everybody is going to make it though. Wish I can meet my first goal by the 25th.. Will see…

                  Hey guys,

                  Well the weekend is over, back to the usual grind of the week. I am pooped out... I did an awesome work out tonight. I feel so accomplished and proud after I exercise. I can't to start trying new stuff. I am hoping to find a hip hop dance video type thing. Uhm lets see... OH I am getting nervous. Tyler the bf is coming home from Fort St John on Wednesday (he's been gone since Nov 1st) and I started this WOE on November 19th. Anyway, we are always horrible together food-wise. We both love junk and always ate junk during movies and stuff. This time when he's home is going to be a huge test for me. Although he is totally stoked about going on atkins as well. So I think that will help alot. Plus he wants to work out together. I am looking forward to him seeing the results of me losing 14 lbs (that I know of) I think its more because I started eating low carb as soon as he left just not strict to atkins.
                  Cross your fingers for me anyway, pray for me something. I am still so scared of failure sometimes!!

                  Where can you buy keto stix from??? If I go to walmart or a pharmacy if I ask for keto stix I take it they will know what I'm talking about; right?

                  Also, Im wondering how I can make something SWEET for a treat sometimes. I would love to treat myself occasionally. I have a MAJOR sweet tooth. I have canned pure pumpkin, splenda and cream cheese, plus i bought pumpkin spices. What can i do with that stuff?
                  PS- has anyone made that mock danish and if you have, what do you think of it????

                    Ooh, sweetness, the boyfriend is coming home! I'm pretty sure he will be very excited to see how much you've lost since the last time you saw him. Way cool!! I'm so very proud of you for coming so far a long with WOL. As for the Ketostix, the only place around here that I have found them are at CVS, and I am pretty sure they know what you're talking about. It's always in the Diabetics section, where they have the blood level checking thing and all that good stuff diabetic people. -.- Scurry.

                    So, good good morning. First time I have woken up at 7 in about a week. My goodness it feesl way nice. =P I'm about to take my measurements and see how many inches I have lost within the week with doing OWL Rung 1! wOOt. Can't wait til Wednesdays weigh in. =P Happiness.

                    That's all I have for today. Where is everyone else. =( I wanna know how everyone is doing, you know?

                      It sure is dead on here these days, where is everyone hiding? Must be because of the holidays approaching? Is everyone out there spending their pennies!? I'm still worried about Brian. I haven't heard a word from him at all. I weighed myself this AM and I'm still at 185 so still -14 lbs down. When tyler gets back on Wednesday im going to have him take my measurements =o)~

                      Its funny when I see my face now its like I am starting to see the 'real me' again. For years now, I haven't felt like myself. I felt like I'm stuck in someone elses body. I think someday thanks to atkins I'm going to be ME again.

                      Anyway, I havent ate yet so Im going to make something delish. C'mon people check in and let us know whats up!!
