LOL Yep, one of my hens is my avater I have 8 Brabanters, 12 Blue Wyandottes, 1 Buff Orpington and 1 Austrolorp. Thinking about some more in the spring, cause you can NEVER have too many chickens

I have eaten polk salad all my life as well and I am still kickin. The trick I have heard is to pick it while it is young and tender. The taller the plant grows, the more toxic it becomes.
