  • Week of December 10 Atkinites!!

    Hey Guys! =)

    What an eventful week for me. Yes, very eventful due to school and having finals, and all that good stuff. Today, won't be any different. I have work to go to, then of course, I have my study group tonight. Isn't that so very exciting? I have two finals this week that I need to study for and gaah, it's just so very hard, sometimes, you know? But, once this week is over, my god, I am going to celebrate like no other. wOOO!

    So, I took my measurements and I have lost a total of 6.5 inches in the past week!! Can you believe it? Damn, I should be losing a lot of weight too, but I will definatly find out on Wednesday with all you lovely and amazing people. =)

    My boyfriend leaves for New Orleans tomorrow and I don't get to see him til Next Sunday. I don't mind so much right now anyway, I was getting a bit tired of seeing him all the time and him joking (treating me like ****) But it was in a joking manner. I don't know. I know eventually we will break up and to be honest, I don't think it will bother me that much, either. I know it won't last because of our age difference and me going my way and he going his way. But, whatever happens, happens for the better. I'm just glad I have all these amazing people in my life that I have met. =)

    Anyway, I have my steaks waiting to be grilled and, I have my artichoke waiting for me too. Mmmmmm, artichoke! =P

    How is everyone else doing? I wish we could get more response, and I do understand if people are busy and all. I just want to see how y'all are doing. =)

    Hey! I'm in college as well. Finals...fun fun!
    I'm done with them on Tuesday and then I have to pack for my trip and I'm so absolutely excited! How many more finals do you have left?

      I have two finals, and 7 skills in my EMT class. I don't like the skills, I am always so nervous when I am doing them in front of experienced people. (Its like a test, so thats why I am nervous.) You should have seen me when I did OB and delivering a fake baby, it was hilarious. I accidentally clamped its cord and I wasn't supposed to cause it was fake. Ha ha. Oops. At least I passed my first three skills, though. =)

        Good to hear from you all.. Nothing new for me except may be I am not shrinking the way I did the first couple of weeks.. but may still be loosing weight.. not sure yet.. Will know on Wednesday.

        I am on my OWL rung1 25 carbs now and enjoying it really.. Depending on the outcome of my scale on Wednesday, I will either move a rung, add another 5 carbs or may be both.. will see how it goes..

          my week is pretty UNeventful! Laundry, cleaning, cooking, taking my oldest to school and i have jazzercise mon and thurs nights! Life of a mom
          I am looking forward to friday night though, i have a christmas party to go to with my kids! Sounds like a lot of fun!

            I've had a quiet week but one **** of a weekend. Party, party, party. I shall give the weigh in a miss this week cos I know I have over indulged and any gain or stall at this point could prove my undoing so I am going to keep my head down and get back on track. Luckily all the partys came at once and I have no more to attend.
            So good luck everyone for the coming week. If I am not around this week its because I am exercising my butt off.

              today not a good day. I did so good for 7 days. but today is very bad day. I struggled to do my exercises but I got through it. Seriously has anyone tried the danish thing ..... I am dying for something sweet and I need a fix faxt.

                Oh no, I haven't tried the Danish thing. =/ Sorry, but if I do have the time to find you a recipe, I'll most definatly give it to you. You could also search the forums for an induction friendly one, too. =P They'll be bound to have a recipe there somewhere. =)

                I have another 4 Skills today for my EMT class. I think, this time, I am actually ready for them. =) I drew a dead guy and I named him my friend Isaac, and I pretended he was a patient and my friend just answered all the questions that I asked. I think I did pretty good and the Medicine Administration thing, omg, I thought it was going to be harder, but apparently, its much easier than I thought. Yay! =) So, when I got home, I got a message from none other than my lovely friend Isaac. Strange how that works.

                I finally, I know, TMI, took my first real err, bathroom break this morning, for the longest time. The other times, it was just like diahrrea and water. o.O It was weird. Okay, since my spincter wasn't used to it, I think it caused a vein to burst or something. Sorry, I am a medical freak and I was all weirded out by it. I thought I was abdominally bleeding, but I know that I am not because otherwise I would feel it, and my stool would be black, so thank god that is not the case. I think my vein just burst cause the stool was bigger than the diahrea size, you know? Sorry sorry sorry! I'll be fine. =) >> << >> What is with me and the TMI thing, my goodness.

                Okay, I gotta get going, and I have to say I am glad my boyfriend is gone for a few days. It actually gives me time to study and get my own things done. wOOt. =) He's in New Orleans. Yay! Lol. I love you all, and I so can't wait til tomorrow for our weigh in!

                  Where is Brian? Oh boy, hopefully he is doing alright.. he hasn't posted anything for some time now...

                  For me, I am doing just about fine in my biking.. I should do little more of that this month.. but it is just hard with all of my available time and all... but still trying really hard.. Will try to ride for another 10 miles or so tomorrow..

                  Tomorrow is also my scale check.. Well see how I have been doing. I have been really good but off the recommended 65/5/30% ratio past couple of day.. Ate too much meat yesterday my protien was 60% rather than 30% Will try to reconvene tonight anyway..

                    Today is better. I am not eating enough food .... i think that is why go end up eating popcorn sometimes. Okay no more negative. I will not mention again about cheating. When I don't cheat I will say cheat free ... if I don't say anything ... please pray for me.

                    The challenges have been helping me though ... I think it is the competive side in me. I want to be able to say that I drunk my water, treadmill and did my abs work out. cool stuff .... looked at my stomach tonight. OMG ya'll it is going down. How cool is that. I love the biggest loser show ..... they give me hope seeing them lose that weight like that. Just the 25 pound that I have lost has me feeling so differnt. I already feel like another person. I did not reliaze that I was so overwieght. I had no idea that it was that bad. I am so glade for Dr. Atkins .. believe me I have tried everything and this is the only woe that works for me. Okay I did the 14 days induction sucessfully for 7 days. So I got to get back in the game.

                    I had court this morning and I was a little stressed out about that ... truth be told .... now that it is over and I can breath I feel better. I just got to get past christmas the new year, my job perfomance, re-register for school. i still have 2 years to get my masters in business.

                    But ha ,,, do ya'll think I could lose this 25 pound by end of december. Any ideas ... i know you alll are going to say get into induction and stay ... right? well if that works and you know it will okay ... tell me so.

                    Thanks yall .... you are all great. even when i don't post I read ya'lls and it is so encouraging. plus you have not cut me off ... thanks.

                      What a bummer.. I think I am into PISS right now.. Been real good boy on this woe and haven't cheated even once since I started exactly 30 days ago.. but there was absolutely no change in my weight from last week to today..

                      Oh well. As long as it is normal, I think I will be fine. I will still go back and review what I ate that past week to make sure I am on the right track. I log everything in Fitday.

                        Well, I have finally succeeded in making it past the first day again. Got a new strategy, everytime I get hungry I am going to eat! It has truly been a struggle to get the ship headed in the right direction. I guess if it was easy I wouldn't be in this shape in the first place. Congrats on making it a month Einy!

                            Einy, the scale is a very evil thing indeed. -.- But, as long as you are doing the right thing, then that is all that matters! =) Take your measurements too and see how much you lost that way, cause in a week I lost 6.5 inches off of different places in my body. It just feels very nice.

                            I did also weigh myself this morning and I officially weigh 204 pounds!!! Another two pounds! Oh my goodness! I am only 5 pounds away from being under 200. That is going to be the best feeling in the world. ^_^

                            I'm going to start eating more veggies each day so my carb count will be 20 every day now. Mmm, I think I will buy home some more veggies when I get the chance to.

                            I have passed all my skills and I have one more skill to go. I have my final tomorrow in my EMT class and I have to pass that with flying colors. I think it would be very amazing that I can work as an EMT and get my foot in the door. I would love that.

                            Oki. I'm happy right now, ha ha. =)

                            I love you guys! And great job on beating day one Brian! You can do it because I believe in you. You have to start believing in yourself too because I know you are a strong guy and can handle this. And that's good, eat whenever you feel hungry, there is nothing wrong with that. =) Soon, you'll be not wanting to eat because that's the way it is when you're in ketosis.

                              I hate PISS! After induction I only lost 2 pounds in the whole month of October but keep at it as your losses will pick up again.
