Hi all .. can anyone help me with the carb content of the vegetable Swede. I've look everywhere and can't find it ???

I eat swede quite a lot (I LOVE it!). It makes great 'french fries' and hash browns. Like you couldn't find nutrient content easily, but I did eventually. I can't remember where I found it, but this is what I have in Fitday, where I entered it as a custom food:
Per 100g (or 3.5oz, which is not a lot, swede is heavy!)
Calories: 14
Fat: 0.3g
Total Carbs: 4.4g
Fibre: 1.9g
Protein: 0.3gKate

Just a note of caution for anyone on Induction Phase reading this thread. A rutabaga or "yellow turnip" is not the same vegetable as the "turnip" listed on the Induction Acceptable Foods list. That turnip is also known as the "white turnip" or the "purple top white" turnip.~Megs~
