Re: How many LBS did you lose in first month?

Such wonderful results in only a month's time! I hope for similar success in my first month. I know everyone's differant so I'll be happy with whatever loss I achieve.

(Though all 25 lbs. would be fabulous - lol)

Re: How many LBS did you lose in first month?

I lost 12lbs the first time around. I also had about 110 to lose. My advice to you is stay on the wagon because when you cheat you're only cheating yourself of weightloss and the more times you cheat the less you lose when you go back on induction. Also, go on to OWL because you'll probably lose more. Staying on Extended Induction was my worst mistake.
You'll do great on this WOE

I forgot to add that I did feel great after a few days and men also seem to lose weight more quickly. Lucky men!

              Hi Hoping,

I am planning to stay on extended induction as I have 100 pounds to lose. Why do you think it is a bad idea?

Re: How many LBS did you lose in first month?

Pumpkin, many members here found that staying on induciton for long periods of time didnt actually mean lots of weight lost, and that once they moved to OWL and started adding carbs like more veg, dairy, nuts and berries their losses speeded up.

Also having more choices of food made it easier for them to not feel deprived and stay on plan.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Re: How many LBS did you lose in first month?

I am also going to stay on a modified induction through Memorial Day. I stay pretty close to 20 carbs a day and work on variety so I don't get bored. As I get closer to Memorial Day, I'll have a plan to move on gradually to OWL so that I don't gain and can maintain.

Good luck. Everyone is different. You'll find out what works best for you.
