Re: Ladies...Have a question for you!

Hey Sally and Atkid!! You guys just gave me hope, when I was beginning to doubt any chances of the possibility! I will definitely be keeping these fingers of mine crossed, and will keep everyone updated on the boob problem in case there is someone out there in the same situation as me!

My boobs are always the first to go - I consider it a weight loss curse. But, it just goes to show that everyone's bodies are different. Some people are shaped like pears, others like apples - it's just the way God made us.

Re: Ladies...Have a question for you!

I feel your pain! It is so frustrating having to buy a size bigger in clothes just to accomodate my breasts! And don't even get me started on having to find industrial strength sports bras for running! In all my gains and losses I've only ever gone up or down one cup size (and I've had fairly significant gains and losses!), all the women in my family have large breasts even though we vary in overall size (some of us are quite thin others quite big but we all have pretty much the same cup size). This is my way of saying I think it's genetic and you might lose a bit but don't expect too much! I've always wanted perky breasts but I'm afraid mine are destined to always point south! My roommate in college had tiny breasts (and was generally tiny) and she would go braless even when we were exercising! I was always jealous, I think I would put my eye out if I tried to run with no bra! Good luck!

If they were once smaller when your weight was lower, I would guess they would go back down to that size. So, I'd say there's still hope for you... But, if they've never BEEN smaller, that's a different story.

Mine go up and down with my weight... from a full C, small D at my largest -- and now I'm a full B, small C.

Well I have good news & bad news for you. For me, I started out as a DDD. They are now DD and the number has decreased 4 sizes. All the women in my family have large breasts, so I am destined to have them as well. Though they have shrunk in size they are starting to lose all the fullness. They are sagging something terrible and I know I will have to have them lifted and possibly have an implant to gain that fullness back.

When I lost weight on Atkins, they shrunk! Amazing... I thought they'd still be out of proportion, just a bit smaller, but no... they're ok now. I'd still like a bit shaved off my upper arms, but I'm not complaining. I'm at the same weight I was in my twenties...but in my twenties my breasts were proportionally bigger.

              You never know...
I have skinny arms/wrists/feet (so why am I not skinny?).

I would love to be at least a DD (so I could buy bras in the store). I have to special order mine and they're $40 each.

Adena!! I am so envious...I think it would never happen, but I would LOOOVVVEE to have a full B cup!

And as far as the exercising w/o a bra? And boobs that are full?? Yeah, mine are full alright....and weigh about 90 pounds a piece haha! They have never been perky, and have never been anything but "low". I cant buy a bra with enough support. I usually wear a normal bra (my boobs poke out the side, and still droop), topped w/ a sports bra. Ive had a time w/ these heavy ole things. I already told my husband if they dont decrease in size when i lose weight, (or even if they do), Im going to invest in a good breast lift one of these days!!

Re: Ladies...Have a question for you!

About your bras not fitting, if you ever get to Atlanta (or the few other big cities where they are located), you might want to try going to Intimacy. (Web site is www.myintimacy.com ) They specially make and tailor all of their bras. And even retailor them after you've lost weight. They aren't cheap -- like easily $50+ -- but everyone I know who has tried them says they are the best EVER. Oprah raved about them on her show, once...

My mother has always been quite large... (E, F?), and before she started going to Intimacy, she special ordered her bras -- the lady would come to her house for fittings, etc. I would think that's a franchise and there'd be someone located near you, too. If you're interested, PM me and I'll ask my mom for the contact info.

I have battled the big boob problem since I was 11, and they have only gotten bigger since I gained all the weight in the past 3 years. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE someone tell me that I WILL lose my boobs?? I heard from a friend that when she lost weight, she still had big boobs, and I have to say that saddens me to no end! I would do anything to be able to walk into a store and fit into the same things that every other woman can fit into...but NOOOO. I even have to order my bathing suits online, and then the top still has problems fitting.

HELP!! Boobs, when do they go away!!
I lost 120 pounds and not an ounce from the boobs. I got smaller around the back, but I didn't lose any cup size. I just had my second breast reduction. I had a reduction in 1989 down to between an A & B cup, but it all came back, plus more. This time, the moron MAN doctor left me with a DD cup! I do NOT want to be a DD cup. As fast as they came back the last time, I will be as big as ever in a couple of years.

My whole family is big breasted. My poor daughter weighed under 100 pounds, but wore an F cup. She had to have her bras special made. She only measured 28 inches around her rib cage.

                    Sunny!
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

have you ever noticed that the people with curley hair have straight hair and the people with straight hair always want curly hair? When I was younger I wanted the baywatch boobies. Now that I've got them I want the small ones back. GOD I HOPE THEY GO AWAY TOO!

I grew three sizes from 12-13 years old. Can you imagine being called Jane Russell by your family??? How embarrassing. I used to wear bigger tops as a teen because the older boys at school would talk to me and focus on my boobs. Quite traumatic.

Anyway, I am a D right now but will probably go down to a C. I have a range of bras in my drawer. I actually hate looking for sports bras. I usually play tennis in a regular one because it's more comfortable. I'm looking forward to a smaller "girls". At my smallest I was a 34 C so I'm hopeful that I'll get back there again.
