  • Dork !!!

    Want to hear what a dork i am ......

    I work at a Spa .. So I can work out in the fitness center anytime I want. I can even work out with a personal trainer anytime I want for free. They EVEN reward me for working out .. so I earn points every time I work out that I can trade in for services like a 80 min massage or a facial or whatever I want. I could get a free service every other month if I worked out JUST three times a week ..



    But do I do it .. NO! Why? Because Im a DORK!!!



    Then I though, we have people that literally pay $150 to get a 3 day pass to our gym, celebrities come here a lot to work out with out trainers for months before a movie or show .. and pay thousands of dollars….. I can do that for FREE.. what the **** is my problem? ;-)



    You always hear about celebrities doing so much work before a big movie or whatever to get in shape ..What if I just set myself a plan like that .. like 5 days a week go do cardio… and 2-4 times a week do strength training with a trainer .. I could whip my but in shape in no time !!



    Im gonna do it .. I have no excuse!!!

      I would love to have that kind of benefits! I hate going to the gym but if I'm already there, why not?

      Good for you for coming up with a plan!

          We have a gym downstairs at my work but I've never been.. I guess I just dont want my coworkers seeing me sweat it out LOL

          And because the 24 Hour Fitness is now like 10 miles away.. I've become incredibley lazy.

          You inspire me.

              People normally overstate the problem when they are calling themselves names, and I try to get them to see that they are not correct. Sorry, this time I have to agree with you! Do you want to get into those white pants or not??? Go work out! Right now!

                Woo, that sounds heavenly! It does take a while to get into gym going if you feel uncomfortabel but you'll be loving it in no time!

                  LOL !! I know i know !! Im totally going to !! Im gonna start going every morning before work !! Iv already got it all planned out!

                  Wake up @ 5
                  Gym by 5:30
                  45 min on the ellipticle
                  40 min to get ready 4 work
                  get to work by 7:30 am

                  AND i schuduled a trainer for every tuesday & thursday to do strength training in the evenings

                  Now i just gotta stick with it ..

                      Wow Sarah you lucky dog! Well I'm glad to see you're finally taking advantage of that MAJOR luxury :-O Total envy here.

                      FYI - I do weights three times a week and cardio three times a week and I'm averaging 3 pounds lost a week. Make sure the change your routines around about every three weeks so your body never learns what you're doing - as soon as it does that, you'll plateau.

                      Good luck! I'll try to keep tabs on how that goes for you cuz I'm a big fitness buff myself. The shape of my body is coming together really nicely and it's due to the fitness.

                      Here's basically what I'm doing to average a 2-4lb loss each week:
                      • Free Weights M, W, F 40 minutes
                      • Cardio T, Th, S 90 minutes
                      • Average Intake=1300-1400 Average Expenditure=3200
                      • Low sodium (attempting - it's really tricky!)
                      • Grazing Approach
                      • Use of vitamins and whey protein isolate
