In a word: yuck! It's just not the same. if you are a true diet coke addict like me, you probably won't like it but it's worth a try. I've tried breaking myself of the diet coke habit (I even did stop for about a month) but there are just some foods (eggs for instance) that just don't go with water or iced tea. Diet coke is just the best match for some foods...

Thank you, Scarlet!! Great articles!! I have given up all diet soda, but I never was much of a fan. I used to mainly drink it with my fast food. I don't eat that (fast food) much anymore so not a huge issue for me. Good luck to all who really love it, its hard to give up those comfort foods/drinks.

I've tried the Diet Coke with Splenda and it's not too bad! To me it does taste a little different that regular diet Coke....You might check a local convenience store and see if they carry it in a 20 oz single and try it before you buy a 12 pack...Not all of our convenience stores carry it, but some of the larger chain ones do.
