  • Yolk-free omelette- still 1g/egg?

    I know I need to count 1 egg = 1g net carb.
If I had a yolf-free (egg-white only) omelette, does it still count for 1 egg = 1g net carb?

One large egg white contains about 0.3 carbs.

Ditching the yolk mainly ditches fat and calories, two things you should be trying to include in your low-carb diet.

The iron, zinc, folate, vitamin D, vitamin A, vitamin E, etc. are mainly in the yolk.

      I love eggs....

You didn't use the YOLK?? *HORRORS!!!!* (Ok now that I got that over with...) I wouldn't even worry about counting it if you're only using the white.
