    Water, water, water... I lost 5lb the first week then the weight loss slowed down and I'd gone up and down for the last month... Until it dawned on me just how important the water is. The last week I've made an effort at drinking enough water (for me it's 4 16oz glasses daily) and I've seen the results. I've been at this for, uh, six weeks now and have lost 16lb - 24 to go...

    I could try increasing to 5 glasses but I'm afraid I'd wear out my pants' zippers from using the bathroom so much

    I hear ya! As a full-time hausfrau, I admire the folk who are still out in the workaday world and manage a job and their bladders!

    Congrats on the 16-lb. loss, TC! Good job

      Well done on the 16lbs!!

      I really have to drink loads of water as I notice my skin goes all dry and I get headachey if I don't. I also find when I do atkins I get a dry mouth (does anyone else get this?).

      Congrats on glugging your water and if you're happy with the amount you drink don't force anymore!
