Hey , i just managed to find some ketostix in my area.., I had managed to convince myself that i had thrown myself out of ketosis because i havent really lost anything in over 2-3 weeks. ( i should also mention, i became less thirsty and the awful taste in my mouth has gone 2)
However, i was very shocked when the stick turned dark purple, during the day, and before bed.. And yes i drank over 4litres of water that day
So here is some more details, I started using my treadmill about 13 days ago Almost daily, my weight has been going up from 88.8 to 89.5(kilos) every morning. I just cant break it.. whenever i get under 89, its up the next morning.
I drink water all the time, And im eating ground beef, and veggies recipe my mum has been making for me, its basically ground beef, red & green capiscan, Celery,mushrooms,Onion, Pepper & alittle salt. Its soooo damn good. We cook enough to last for 3 days and freeze it... I also have grated cheese on top of this meal.
Yesterday was my "Rest day" and i ate that for lunch & dinner, without working out.. and today i have gained another 2.2lbs.. But im still in Ketosis.
The supermarket Swears that the ground beef has no carbs in it, or they would be on the label because its "againts the law" to sell meat without it listed on package.. (this is from 2 diff supermarkets) Am i using 2 many veggies? Because im putting enough in to last 3 days... Are all the carbs mixing together and making it high in carbs??? i dunno... *sigh* (i only eat small bowls, and there doesnt appear to be many veggies in the bowl when im eating lol)
From Tomorrow, im going to start eating chops, cauliflour and beans. Im tired of all this hard work and not losing
But, i just wanted to know.. can u be in Ketosis without Losing Weight, And can u also be in starvation mode(storing all my fat) while in Ketosis
I know i ask alot of questions from time to time. I would just rather ask people with personal Exp. And i really want to get back on track

. First, it's not unusual to have plateaus or stalls, or "breaks" from losing. Jarvist is right....your body might be reaaranging fat.
