    what does this mean?

    i was looking at some sugar free hard candy
    and on the back on the nutritional value it said impact cards... what does this mean?

        It depends on how they 'impact' you

        My way of treating those pesky 'non-counting carbs' is that if the carbs they are not counting (sugar alcohols) affect my body by making me rush to the bathroom then I can ignore them and use the numbers quoted, but if they have no 'bathroom effect' on me then my body could well be processing them and treating them like other carbs and so I should not deduct them from the carb count.
