  • Bok Choy....

    what do you do with it? I've never had it before and am thinking of branching out.

    Started Atkins 7/5/2008 for the second time

    HW/SW/CW/GW

    First mini-goal: 180 lbs. met 8/9/2008
    Second mini-goal: 170 lbs. met 11/8/2008
    Third mini goal: 160 lbs. (which was my postpartum weight with my second baby)
    Fourth mini goal: 150 lbs.
    Ultimate goal: 140 lbs

    You cut the leafy part from the white stalks. Then cut the stalks into 1/2 inch pieces. Saute with butter or olive oil and garlic. When they are tender, add the leaves that you have coarsely chopped and cook until tender.

    You can use the leafy part and the stalks in stirfries.

    Basically, you cook it like spinach or cabbage.
