  • Help lost appetite completely!!

    Any good ideas to get my appetite back. Just the normal stuff eggs, meat, salad just doesnt seem to cut it. I can eat a few bite and then I am done. I know I need more calories than I am getting. I have had to force what little I can for 3 days now. I am starting a new running program and cannot get enough energy this way. Any ideas would be helpful. Easy stuff please I hate to cook. I thought maybe having a diet soda would help but that doesnt even sound good anymore.

    try and add as much high calorie stuff as you can. I went through this when I was losing weight really fast and going to the gym every day. I was barely eating 500-600 calories a day. I was feeling stuffed and eating made me literally want to throw up. I ate many many small meals (bites really) and ended up going to the gym only 3 times per week. this slowed my weight loss down but I was able to start eating again. After I was able to eat 1200 calories without feeling sick I started going to the gym everyday again. My weight loss picked right back up but I was unable to tolerate food again. I'm guessing my body goes into keotsis really easily and the appetite suppression part of atkins really works for me. I only go to the gym 2-3 times per week now. My weight loss is .5-1.5 per week. with a 2 pound weight gain during TOM that comes off the week after. Try slowing down your workouts. that is the only thing that works for me. If i even get in too much extra walking around town or do an extra long walk on the beach I lose all appetite for two days.

      What phase are you in? And how long have you been in it?

      Loss of appetite is a sign of ketosis/lypolysis.

        Shoot, loss of appetite/hunger is my favorite part of this WOE.
        I find I have more than enough energy for exercise, 6 days a week.
        "I'm big boned" ...Um, nobody has bones that big....

        Buffalo wings, not just for breakfast anymore.
