    I was 5 days in and cheated on Christmas day. This is my second day back on track and I am having serious cravings right now!

      My good intentions went sideways on me. Christmas Eve was fine except for the wine. Christmas day wasn't too bad, lots of wine and some crackers and two pieces of baklava (spelling). Then I was fine, but yesterday went out to lunch with a friend and ordered a salad I thought was safe and it wasn't, it had lentils in it. Ate it anyway then went out to dinner with my family and had wine and some carby things.
      I am back now. And I am glad to be back. However I am not getting near that scale for at least another week.

        Im so upset after almost 11 months on atkins cheat free i made a huge mistake and i dont know why i did it now because i regret it completely.. i ate some xmas pudding with cream which is a NO NO and i hade baklava or baklawaw however it is spelled, its a turkish desert filo pastry stuffed with nuts

        I did this on two days , and i feel that i have kick started something terrible.. because i constantly crave sweets now which i never did since i begun atkins.. i need some advice because i have come to far to let this all slip

        hope everyone else stood strong..
        Atkins induction started: 20th Feb 2008
        Starting Weight: 268.2lbs
        Current weight: 196. LBS
        1st Goal: 220.0 lbs- MET : 2nd Goal: 200.0 lbs MET 3rd Goal: 180.0 lbs : 4th Goal: 160lbs
        FINAL Goal: 140lbs

          Sara, if jumping back in where you left off on the rungs hasn't worked for you, go back on induction till those cravings subside.

            after having a slow loss for 2 weeks I caved on the 25th - AND I'M JEWISH!

            We went to say hi to some family who celebrate xmas and they made brunch without telling us ahead of time.....so dumb - day 1 again for me and up 5lbs
            Rebeginning Atkins - 3-5-09
            Male - 36 yrs - 5' 10"
            Starting weight - 290

                well magic, on the bright side, it's probably mostly water weight. But don't do that again!!!!!!!!

                  I fell off the wagon completely Christmas Eve and haven't been able to get back on. I am heading out in the morning to do my groceries and plan on getting back on the wagon tomorrow! I'm actually looking forward to starting again because I feel horrible now that I went back to my old eating habits. I'm crabby and tired and very unmotivated, so hopefully tomorrow things will start to look up!

                    I must admit I cheated throughout but have also paid for it...I've gained three pounds and feel dragged out from too many carbs. Yesterday I got rid of all the leftover treats and went and worked out. Today I am starting on track again. The hard part is I not only have to contend with the holidays...but my birthday was last weekend. I can do this.
