Re: New Year's Atkins Resolutions - list them here
as one who typically does not make resolutions... I am now making a resolution to make resolutions in my life. I intend on challenging myself by practical and some not so practical goal setting... you know... like dangling the so called carrot in front of the rabbit. I have lived safe for years and well... if I have learned one thing over the last year its that stepping out of the comfort zone I set for my self as an obese woman has allowed me to drop alot of weight... physically speaking, mentally speaking, emotionally speaking AND spiritually speaking.
I resolve to eliminate the rest of the negative self speak and negative influences in my every day life. I will remove certian non productive friends from my facebook, I will, finally close the chapter on a few relaionships with friends who are not friends. I will work on my inner dialogue that says I am fat and disgusting....
I have on my wall above my desk this mantra....
I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy.
Absolute fact.
I will read this and claim it every single day this year.
I would love to hear what some others here use as a personal Mantra!
Good luck to you all!

) and maintain it through healthy eating habits and regular exercise (for me, walking five to six days a week, either outdoors or on a treadmill at the gym). I also resolve to live in the moment ... the past is done, and the future is uncertain ... we only have the now. Might as well enjoy it!
Happy New Year, everyone!
