Hi Parouz, I just wanted to lend some support on missing your lovely fruits! I also am (was) a big fruit and veggie eater so cutting out fruits entirely and cutting back so much on my veggies is the hardest thing for me about Induction so far. I'm like you, used to eating my veggies plain, not much into fatty dressings, and I exercise a lot. I've had to really work at eating much more fat and meat and calories than I'm used to. I've been logging everything into Fitday to make sure I'm getting plenty, and that seems to help so you might try that if you haven't yet.
I'll keep an eye on your progress because it sounds as if we're pretty similar in terms of our lifestyle and eating habits before starting Atkins. What are you training for in April, and do you find it hard to do the training on Induction? I've cut my activity back a bit while I adjust to the new WOE.
BTW, I only expect to see a few pounds loss during Induction myself. I agree it's easy to get stars in your eyes when you see some of the huge results other people get. But starting at 143 pounds is an entirely different story from starting at 250 or 300 pounds, so don't expect too much at the beginning. Hang in there!

Hey there Babypiggy, thanks for Fitday I'm doing that now and what a fantastic tool it is too.Cream is a bit of a carb killer, typical as i don't mind cream at all and that was where i was getting alot of fat from. That could well be the reason of a smaller weight loss as I was using it for salad dressing.
I'm having to really work on less salad and veg and eating a side of lamb instead.Or an ocean of fish.
I've some grapefruits in the kitchen I pat them as I walk by.
How are you finding Induction?
With the energy levels I could barley muster the energy to blink the 3rd/4th day but the 5th and onwards has been back to normal. It's not really affected me in the exercise department.I'm hoping that working in the keto zone will be great for long distant running as you end up in that zone usually on the 20th mile.Come 5th April will be doing the Rotterdam Marathon I just want to be back to 8-8.5st.That's the aim.
What about you what sort of exercise do you do and what have you cut back on?
Are you in the States?
The majority are States side.
Good luck and take care.
