    Not cheating with the carb part but with the excerising part.I've been on adkins since 8-08 and had lost 45lbs up to Dec. when I stalled out. Exercise up to this time had been nonexistent-Zero. Started 1-01-09 with 30min (15min treadmill and 15min bike) HOLY COW 12lbs down in 2wks. I am now a firm beliver in exercise + diet = success.

    Good job Ron. That is real motivation. I have lost 67 pounds since 9/18/08 but last couple of weeks have been losing slowly. I haven't done as much exercise as I should. I will try it out and see if it speeds my weight loss back up. Are you doing the 30 minutes every day or juts two to three times a week?

      yup, exercise is huge, not to mention that when you get to your goal weight, you'll be a toned fit person, and not a flabby skinny person.

        I agree exercise is the key. Plus it makes you feel so good afterwards. I am almost ...ALMOST to the stage it feels like routine.

            Great post! I am a cheater also. I have not been exercising. I managed to exercise for 30 min with the 20 24 challenge. I think I will start tonight because I also have been very slow going the last two weeks really. I lost 10 pounds my first week and then only 2 the next two weeks.

            Great job so far your progress. Thanks for staying with it and connected to this board.
