Okay I am really sorry if this is in the wrong place to post, but I am very computer stupid without my husband right behind me...lol. My husband and I decided to start what we thought was the Atkins diet last Friday and the first two days were really rough (Cravings for bad things)...but these last couple of days it has gotten a lot easier and we don't feel very hungry at all. My husband has lost 6 pounds and I have lost 7 pounds....he is currently at 215 needing to get down to 185 and I am currently at 178 needing to get down to 135. Now we were told by a friend that has been successful in the past with Atkins that you eat only meat, eggs, and cheese the first two weeks....nothing else.....sooooo that is what we have been doing. I have been reading some posts on this site and it looks like we are sooo wrong in what we have been doing. I know now that I need to go buy the book for ourselves...however I will not be able to do that for atleast a week (we live paycheck to paycheck..literally
) so to last us until next week when we can read the book...I am going to ask some questions and hope to get some responses.
1. Veggies are allowed in the first two weeks? (We were doing that wrong)
2. Multivitamins? (We were doing that wrong)
3. I am currently in Ketosis in the moderate stage, however my husband is still showing negative...we have been eating the same exact thing (I think he eats a little more cheese though) Why is this?
I am so sorry to look like an idiot, but I guess you can say we went into this blind and thought we could do it all that way...but we were way wrong. Thanks in advance for ANY responses.
