    I loved fajitas!! But today I took some sort of very thin slice steak, fried it up used whole chedder cheese and mayo and instead of using bread or a tortillia I took one whole leafe of romane lettus and my GOODNESS it was soooo good!!! Try it!!

      Peanut butter on toast with a nice cup of hot chocolate or Horlicks. I used to put butter on the toast too and didn't think it was crazy until my OH pointed out I was eating butter with peanut butter.

      Sadly there's nothing I can replace it with on induction but I'm not really craving it anymore.

        almond joys, but atkins do have some that are sort of like them. So i is appeased! Juice too...i really miss that pom juice. But i drink tea and EXTRA extra waters. mmm





        Sadly i fell off the wagon...HOWEVER im back on starting today 8/21/09 (176lb)

          I am such a rice girl...grew up on it twice a day...and sushi...but I do love sashimi and so am not totally depressed! I also adore pasta, but I also love cauliflower so I cook it, add spaghetti sauce, top with cheese and broil it just like pasta. My mother in law thought I was nuts, but it was really tasty!

            Actually I miss milk. Chocolate milk. I use zero carb (actually the chocolate is low carb) Isopure. Its thinner than milk, not as sweet as real chololate milk. Has no lactose. Its so high in protein I mix only one scoop instead of two and have it 4 times a day if I can. Fried Chicken Livers are something I fall off the wagon for now and then. I'm gonna try cooking some myself for the first time in some bacon grease(no flour). Bacon grease makes it all better!



            My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

            1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
            2nd mini goal: 140!
            3rd mini goal:135!
            4th mini goal: 130!

            I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

              I love fried chicken liver. During induction, I used flaxseeds and parm cheese. Now I mix both of those with an equal amount of resistant starch to fry them with. YUMMY
              PS....a little onion powder is a nice touch too.

                now that I've moved from induction to OWL rung 1 there are a few things I am starting to miss:

                I made mashed potatoes for mom & hubby tonight....I had to catch myself not to taste to make sure there was enough salt and pepper in them....I didn't cheat but I almost did without thinking!

                Another thing I miss is toast - I use to have an omelette and 2 slices of toast for breakfast every morning....I have an omelette now ocassionally but no toast. When anyone makes toast I want to scream at them "I WANT TOAST!!!"...lol

                The other thing I would like is chocolate - just a hershey kiss if nothing else....or an ice cream cone - but it's just not worth risking the weight loss and number of cheat free days I've had so far!
