    hu11aba1oo2,

I feel you on that one. My grandmother used to do that to me about four years ago (I've lost and gained since then). No matter where we were or who we were with she would ALWAYS say, "Girl, you gettin' fat!" She would say this before she would even say hello.

Ouch what a pity you couldn't retort "And you are getting mean"
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Speaking of grandmothers....and thank you for throwing me into THIS flashback:

I was 6 or 7, and a normal kind of chubby kid ("Big Boned")...when someone in a store said to her "Is that your grandson? He's so handsome!" in that kind of nice-old-ladyish complimentary way. In reply my grandmother said "Yeah, he would be, but he has to get rid of all this!" and grabbed my stomach.

Being 6'3" I rarely get comments about my weight...because people are afraid I might pick them up and turn them into an unfortunate spot on the wall. You know, Irish temper and all...
