  • Don't know what to do??

I am trying so hard to get back on track. I feel so disappointed in myself. I was doing so good for awhile. I was in the hospital for 3 months and went right off the plan and now I am having such a hard time getting back to where I was. I just need some friendly words or motivation, I don't know. I am wondering if maybe I should be thinking of a different diet plan.

    HELP!!!!!

I was in the hospital for a little over a month in 2006, and I managed to stay on Atkins, but it sure wasn't easy. I can't imagine trying to stay on the plan for three months while hospitalized.

It's up to you, but I find Atkins the easiest plan to stay on. You are not hungry and your health improves. If you think you can do something like weight watchers, give it a try. You can still come back to Atkins if it doesn't work for you.

We're here for you if you need support while getting back on track with Atkins.

You can do it. Load the refrigerator up with induction friendly food.

Don't you miss how great you used to feel?? Do you really think you'll feel great and satiated with WW? I wouldn't even feel awake, personally. Maybe your biggest obstacle is fear of failure. That's where I was stuck for years. Start now...you'll only regret NOT starting sooner. You have done it before, you can do it again. Jump on the wagon! We're here if you need us.

Get right back in the saddle, Niki! If after that point, you decide Atkins is no longer for you, you can always switch to something else better suited. But in the meantime, you may as well be "eating productively" by doing something - and you are proof-positive that Atkins works.

I have re-started today. I did love the feeling of good I felt, like I was in control. I might have to go back to the hospital and if I do I think I will try hard to follow atkins.
            Thanks everyone.

              Hi Niki!!!

Congratulations for re-starting today, well done!!!! As you mentioned in your first post, you were successful before your hospital visit eating this way.... so you will be again!!!! Just do exactly what you're suppose to do according to the book and you will have that success again. Instead of feeling badly, congratulate yourself and acknowledge that you are getting your health back in order by eating this way and realize you ARE in control!!!!

You're going to do great Niki!!! Make sure you surround yourself with the foods you're allowed to eat and stick to the program. Add some exercise into your routine and before you know it girl, you're going to have a whole lot more energy then you do now and you'll see the inches coming off!

Keep up the great work, you're on your way!!!! It's really good to meet you!!!
