  • Another ketosis question

    OK I have been on induction since 9th Feb and decided to extend it another couple of weeks to get the eating 100% right before I attempt OWL.

    Last night we went out and although my dinner choice was a resounding success (steak and salad, no dressing), I caved and had a bit of chocolate birthday cake. No excuses I just did it.

    Now my question, if I mess up at one meal and go straight back to plan at the next and be good - how long until ketosis will kick in again?

    i am going to guess and say when the excess amount of carbs is used by your body. you may not even notice it. just jump back on the wagon and keep at it. don't stress about it, just keep going - eat well, excercise- you know!

      That is what I thought but as I am still relatively new to this WOE, I just wanted to check..
