Well I'm back on low carbing after a full year of yo-yoing on WW and using phentremine, neither of which worked for me. Why I don't just pick a diet and stick with it is beyond me! But I've been doing Atkins on and off for over 9 years and have never lost all the weight I want to lose.
This time has been a disaster! I guess because I've done this so many time and also because I'm not getting any younger! I weigh 271 and if I don't get this weight off I am going to die young like my mom did. I've said so many times it is time...this is the last time...this is my year! I'm soooooooo tired of making the same promises to myself only to see myself fail.
I've been locarbing again since the middle of February and I've lost NOTHING...not an ounce...I've gone up and down like crazy (the same oh...seven or eight lbs) but no real losses. I was at 270 yesterday (Sunday) and 273 this morning, I went to the gym (for the first time this time around) today and got on the scale after the workout and weighed in at 270...I can't wait to see where I am in the AM.
My question to anybody out there that might know...why am I not losing this time around? Have I lost the ability to lose this way because of my crazy skipping from diet to diet? Should I just stick it out and see if I can beat this...I started out doing strict Induction (keeping my carbs around 10-15 daily and only using low fat meats) so I'm doing everything right. I thought maybe I was not eating enough calories so this past week I upped the calories and the fat intake to see if that could get things going...nope.
thanks for the help...I'm not in a stall because I've not started losing...lol. I am not one to starve myself so I won't reduce my calories really low...I keep them between 1200-1800 daily...I drink about 100 oz of water daily (hate it but I do it).
Thank you again,

I don't remember reading that each snack had to have fat, but I'm not going to fight it...I've always used snacks as a way to get in my veggies, not sure what I can use as fat with my celery...I don't like cheese sticks they always taste salty to me...what do you eat for a snack? Are eggs a good source of fat?
