Just to reassure you a bit (I hope) - Dr Pescatore worked with Dr Atkins in his centre and no doubt worked out his recommendations on how younger people need to eat for better health/weightloss in consultation with Dr Atkins.

So although I know nothing about the recommended foods and regime in the book Megs has recommended I am sure Dr Atkins approved of it

Here is a bit of blurb about the book
Building on the low-carbohydrate principles of the hugely popular Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution--which has helped millions of adults lose weight permanently--Dr. Pescatore applies the Atkins Center's proven nutritional program to children and teenagers.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Your calories are way too low... they should be almost double of what you are eating... You are not supposed to be hungry on this diet, and if you are you are supposed to eat... the more you eat (especially items high in fat) the more your body has to digest which makes your metabolism faster which helps it to burn more fat. Not eating enough can make your weight just stay the same...

You need to add salad foods. You need much more meat (protein). Then your carb levels will come down as your fat/protein levels increase...

Share your menu with us after your make some more changes... We'll get you doing this thing right

msangelpie is right on target. If you dont want your metabolism to slow down to the point that you will NEVER be able to lose, you need to eat double the calories you are now eating.

Also your meat intake going up will mean your carbs will go down.

What do your parents and doctor say about this?

Are they in agreement for you to do a diet that is geared for adults than a diet that is geared for teenagers?

Here is what Dr. Atkins wrote in the preface to Dr. Pescatore's book:

I've worked side by side with Dr. Pescatore for many years. In this book--which I heartily recommend--Dr. Pescatore teaches you how to bring health and nutrition to the next generation.
You're not doing yourself any favors by doing a diet that isn't specifically for children and teenagers.

Thank you, but I am getting all of the nutrients I need. I take vitamins everyday. Yeah, I know I'm stubborn, but sorry for not going with the other diet, like I said, I would rather do this, I know, I know, STUBBORN.........lol
How do you know you are "getting all of the nutrients" you need? Do you even know how much of and what kind of nutrients a 15 year old girl needs? If you don't, then you cannot say you are getting all of the nutrients you need.

            Vitamin supplements are not replacements.

Again, do your parents and physician know you are doing an adult weight loss diet?

              Re: Induction crisis!!!!!!!!! Help!!!!! Please!!!!!!

All I can say is that if you're going to ignore the advice to do a diet more age-appropriate, and if you're going to stay seriously below your required caloric intake, please don't tell people you're doing Atkins. And please don't tell them you "did Atkins and it didn't work" when you inevitably fall off the wagon. Sorry to be harsh, but it's true.
