We had snow today. Yuck. I am not meant for winter weather.

Jane - Snow, lucky you, that means the ski season is underway soon doesnt it? Skiing must a considered very good exercise.
Sham - That peace and quiet when everybodies in bed is so good isnt it. How are the Christmas preperations going?

No further updates on the exercise thing, I have continued walking, doing the up/down hill walks and it has not repeated so Ill take it as a one off. My eating has been a bit off on vacation but Im not too unhappy. Here till Saturday and then home to chilly/wet UK and organising Christmas. Did do pretty much all the pressy shopping before I came away. Back to reality.

Hello again!

Yes, ski season is upon us. Its crazy I live near the mountains and have several good ski places nearby but I don't ski. The only thing I do with snow is shovel it.

I am working on Christmas things...I am slower than I was last year. Last year I was so organized! I miss that.

I am really trying with my eating...its been ok lately. I still won't weigh in yet.

Hi Jane I use the graphics to make the message more presentable glad you like them.I copy and paste them from another site according to the message.
All is well with me and the family thanks for asking.
I think Im like you not fond of the snow much well it looks really pretty when it snow but life gets hard and it can be annoying and especially very cold.I guess when I was younger and used to go to school those days snow was the best thing ever and now my kids love it.
Dont over do it and rest my very active and busy buddie!

By the way its not too cold here but the weather can change,a few weeks ago it was very chilly I feel its gone better but you cant trust the British weather can get colder in a day.Take care.

Well life can be amusing here on this little caribbean island. We have a neighbour who is often rather intoxicaated either with alcohol or other substances, she came here to go to rehab!
Yesterday another neighbour was walking past her drive, there were strange noises, snuffling and sniffings coming from her little Suzuki jeep parked in the drive, not wanting to intrude my neighbour walked by. An hour later she returned and the strange noises were still coming from the jeep so she decided she would go and check it out. There, staring at her from the jeep was a donkey!
She sent her daughter down the hill to the intoxicated ladies house, she was passed out half way in and half way out of her front door, when she eventually came round she had no knowledge of where she had got the donkey from or how she had got it in the tiny jeep! After a few phone calls we found the donkeys owner put it in our pick up truck and returned it. Life is definately interesting here.
So buddies. no donkeys in your cars today please!

Hi Buddies and all potential Buddies who would like to join in the chat.

My daughter read the internet last night and said how cold it is going to be when we arrive early Sunday morning. No complaining, just happy we have had some sun and back to a more controlled eating pattern I think.
It is not until you are in a place where food is more limited in type that you really appreciate the vast array of foods available in more developed countries.
One day I was in a little supermarket here and met a lady who was at her fourth shop and still looking for cauliflower, to complete her complicated receipe. Well anyone who has spent any time here knows that no caulis are grown here so any that are available are air freighted in and are very expensive and probably not very fresh.
We have a family policy of not deciding what we will eat until we get to the store, we then check out what is available and the menu creates itself !
I will be pleased to return to the UK and a place that I can decide what to eat before I get to the store but really and truly there is something to be said for the simple life.

Ognum...hope your trip home goes smoothly and it isn't too cold when you get there. The donkey story was funny. Sounds like a memorable trip.

Sham...what are your plans for the weekend? I am hoping to do some painting and get pressies wrapped and ready to send to my sister.

Yesterday was the sendoff ceremony for my hubby's deployment. LONG day! But I survived. Ate ok, and did a ton of walking so I feel I got some exercise in.

Still cold here! It is winter I guess.

Hi sweet Jane nice to hear from you as your a busy bee.I bet the ceremony was very memorable and touching for you.You must have realised how much you will miss your hubi when he goes.Well don eon the walking thats brilliant.
Today my son (eldest) wanted a party so all his cousins could get together so yesterday I did the shopping and today I made some sweet puddings and some food.Everyone got dressed up and we made a video at my mums house.I didnt touch any of the illegal foods I ordered a grilled baby chicken tandoori from the shop and ate that done really well.I guess were all complaining how cold it is wherever we are but hey it is suppose to be winter!Enjoy your weekend.
