    This week....I walk 2 miles plus a day 45 minutes a day (I'm so at the moment). I'm building endurance back up to begin C25k. I would just jump into right now but my body isn't cooperating very well.

      I ride between 40 and 60 miles 3 times a week, sometimes 4. I do it because I love cycling, although I don't think it's ever helped me lose weight before. I just feel better when I exercise, and I usually go on a few bicycle tours during the summer so I have to stay in shape for those.

      I highly recommend cycling to anyone who has trouble walking or running because of bad knees. I've injured my knees and had several surgeries including microfracture, but I still find walking more than a mile painful. Cycling doesn't put much stress on your joints and it's something you can do into your old age usually.

        I ride my stationary bike 20 - 25 miles daily - also do Abs dvd's (1 have 8 of them) and Belly Dancing (just starting that). I also walk several times a week.
