  • Any other "featherweights" out there?

Wondering if there is anyone else looking to lose just 25-30 lbs? (Or maybe those last 25-30 lbs?)

Anyone else in a similar situation?

I'm trying to lose the last 33 pounds. Does that make me a featherweight? How exciting

I originally wanted to lose 13 to get down to 135, but I've revised my goal to 130.

          Six pounds to go!

I'm down to my last 25-30 pounds. It's quite exciting! I'm toying with the 32 pounds, but I think with all the muscle I'm building I'll be quite happy with 25 more. We'll see.

Re: Any other "featherweights" out there?

I want to lose about 10 more pounds. I've already lost 10 during induction. I'm pretty satisfied at my current weight, but I have boxes full of clothing that I'd like to be able to wear again.

The other health benefits that I've experienced on this diet far outway the weightloss for me. I did not expect to feel this fantastic, and so many problems from gastroesophageal reflux to itchy scalp resolved within a week of eating low-carb. I'm just amazed.

Yay! So happy for the responses.

Am hoping that if we can stick together, it'll give us that much more motivation to stay on plan and make our goals!

I'm working on losing about 25-30 lbs. (10-12 kgs)
My next mini goal is 65 kgs (143 lbs)

Weighed in at 66.5 yesterday, so WooHoo!

                Stay strong, all!

Yep..im trying to lose about 30 lbs...im doing the extended induction because I only lost 6 lbs the first two weeks and would like to lose more. But I promise your not the only feather weight. I was worried that it would take me forever to lose the weight because i dont really have that much weight to lose. Im 5'8 and at 159lbs...so only 24 more lbs to go! Keep up the good work! you can do it!

Best of luck! We have reasonably similar stats, actually (though you're a way ahead of me!) - same height, and I have about 20-30lbs (to be honest I was incredibly happy last time I was around 143, and actually, miraculously, liked photos of me!) - have been as low as 120lbs after a bout of gastroenteritis , but to be honest, I looked like Skeletor!!

Anyway, we'll see how it goes - after an Easter where I wasn't very good , I am getting back on track and getting even more exercise and hoping to lose steadily and consistently.

Best of luck to all you guys!

I'm trying to lose 10-15 lbs. It's rough. 2 1/5 weeks on induction and 0 lbs lost...solid lbs that is. The scale bounces between 5 lbs from day to day. Apparently my body is happy where it is. It's pretty frustrating. Good thing I'm not dieting only for myself, but supporting my husband in his weight loss as well...or else I would have quit a long time ago.

How funny - a lot of us have very similar stats. 5'7 or 5'8 - and in the 160 to 130 range.

I am halfway to my goal of 125-130...and it does get very tough to shave off those last few. Comes much more slowly after the sweet spot of early induction. I have had greater success lowering my calories a bit, and increasing my exercise (but only a bit).

Titanwasp, you look great and you're right that we are all that similar in stats. It's tough to keep motivation up to make that final goal.

Know what you mean about the exercise. I tend to gain if I do too much.

                          To all you featherweights:
What motivates you to keep going???

Focused - thank you! That's actually my before photo. I am down nearly 20 from there, but don't want to post till I hit my goal#1 of the 130's.

Exercise really is a mixed blessing - of course it is the best for health, burning fat, stabilizing moods/hormones, but it makes you HUNGRY! I am trying to walk during lunches, and get on the treadmill or do weights after the kids are in bed. It's an uphill battle. Just never enough hours in the day.

This is somewhat similar to my situation. I actually just wanted to get rid of a stubborn 5 lbs./one dress size I had gained and couldn't shed, plus another 5 that I had gotten too comfortable with. I lost about 6 lbs. in induction and OWL rung 1 and now seem to be stuck, which tells me that my body may just be happy where it is. I had really hoped to get another 4 lbs. off but now I wonder if I set too ambitious a goal.
