I just started yesterday on the plan and doing good so far. HOWEVER...my daughter graduates this Sat and I am certain that I will eat because we are having a HUGE family bbq.

There are plenty of things you can have a a BBQ--all the meats without sauces you want, cheese (3 ounces), big salad, raw veggie stix, deviled eggs. OK it is a big do and you may not be able to hold down quantities to the 3 cups if you are chowing down with family all day, but there is no reason why you can't keep your choices legal even if you go over in portions a bit. And if you bring a big jug of water and drink 8 oz before you eat the next whatever, you will be full and get your H20 in also. Stick to the plan. Its only two weeks and there will always be an event to derail you so fix that now. Not cheating is not negotiable.

but i mustered up all the willpower that i got and kept in mind that i''m in this for the long haul.....so i just chose Atkins-friendly foods, and guess what? i didnt realize i had so many choices i went home full and happy!
