I think I posted under an incorrect forum, but here is my dilemma:

I have a face-paced day and I do not have the time to cook breafast every morning eggs, bacon, chicken patties, although I can prepare this at night. I have to get up very early so if anyone has any breakfast suggestions that does not require cooking I would appreciate hearing from you. Lazy, but still want to lose!

    Thanks

I eat leftovers for breakfast frequently. Or I bake crustless quiches on the weekend and slice a piece off for breakfast during the week.

turkey/cream cheese rollups can be made quickly in the morning...

I am always rushing in the morning so I make an omelette the night before and just a quick reheat...

I don't have time to cook in the mornings either.

One of my favorite things to make in advance for breakfast is the crustless quiche recipe in the back of the 2002 DANDR! I make it on Sunday and then portion it out, put it in ziploc bags and bring it to work with me. I can pop a serving in the microwave and breakfast is ready in under a minute!

I take stuff to work with me and nuke it there, you can scramble eggs in the microwave.

Thanks for all your replies, will try them, but how does one scramble eggs in the microwave? That would be perfect for me because my office is right near the lunchroom

take a splash of heavy cream and your eggs scramble them all up in a bowl and throw them in the microwave for a minute or two depending on desired consistancy. :yes I have gotten quite creative in my microwave office cooking and I have a whole drawer in the breakroom fridge to myself :joy

I'll throw in just a splash of water, and set the microwave for a minute, but I stir it every 20 seconds or so, so it cooks fairly evenly.

I don't throw anything in except a tiny bit of salt, and more pepper, mix it up and nuke. My favourite thing to grab for breakfast is a hardboiled egg a 'Babybel' cheese.

My no cook breakfast is generally a salad I can eat on the way to work or precooked sausage patties wrapped in lettuce leaves.

MsGee-- I prepare eggs the night before and then wrap them with saran wrap and nuke them the following morning. They are still quite good, and mean that I don't have to starve while I'm prepping breakfast for everyone else!

oh man those looked so good, I had to make them. Made them right now.. just put them in the stove.. let you know how it turns out! Would be perfect to wrap separtely and save them for breakfast. If they turn out good, think I'll try sausage instead of bacon... or maybe both! With some mushrooms in it.. oh drool....

                          Update:
oh so tasty tasty. This has two thumbs up! Definitely going to try sausage next time instead of bacon, I think it will add to the flavor. mmm

                              5 tablespoons heavy cream
                              4 oz cream cheese
                              2 strips bacon
                              3/4 cup shredded cheese

I don't know what edam cheese is, I used cheddar and it tasted just great. next time I make these I'm going to use sausage and mushrooms instead. Makes about 9 turnover/muffin things
