  • Progress pics

    I've been on Atkins since April. I did Body for Life in March and switched to the Firm in April. I have lost a pound overall since then, but have lost 1-2 sizes, 3.5 lbs of fat, gained 3+lbs of muscle, and look better. It's not an amazing transformation, but it will be slow since I'm not overweight and I have a lot of medical issues. I may really have lost more weight than a pound because 3 weeks in (started measurements on March 7), I gained 7 lbs in a week from steroid use. As I weaned down, that helped, but it took me a long time to get back to where I was. Here is a link to my BFL photo page.           Just got back from an 8-day all inclusive stay on the beach in Mexico. I decided ahead of time to eat whatever I wanted. I always do that on vacations (since we go so rarely), but I decided not to treat it as an all out binge-fest. I stuck to it too and didn't overeat except one or two times (and that was on filet mignon, not a cheesecake! So I didn't weigh myself when I got home (last night at 10:30pm), but I tried on the new size 6 jeans I bought 3 days before vacation and they still fit with room to spare. I went to the store last night to get foods and have been 100% on induction since I returned. I was feeling a little guilty while I was there worried I would ruin all my progress, but I didn't and the most important thing is I'm already back on program even though hubby is having guys over for pizza tonight. I can't wait to see my next progress pics in a month or so.

          Oh, and just a reminder to those who exercise and feel they aren't doing well....I went from a size 10 to a 6 and I only lost 1 lb total. Seriously...only one freakin' pound. Just remember the scale is not always the best measure of progress.

            Hi Bree, I am glad you had a nice vacation. Great news that the size 6s still fit
            I have also dropped sizes and only one pound in the past when I exercise. This week, I haven't been well so stayed at home and have lost 3 pounds. Crazy! Exercise definitely makes you look and feel better though x

                wow your looking super slim.I am also 5ft 7ins tall i wanna look like that im 180lbs i look good but wanna look too good!
