  • Fat is the Question? the process... Does anyone know?

Hello Everyone, hope all is well...

I was wondering if some one really understands what happens with the all the Fat we eat everyday... I have heard different explainations... Does anyone really know?

Can you consume to much fat on this diet? On the Atkins Diet does our bodies burn the Dietary fat first for fuel? and then once the Dietary fat is burned, do we then burn the body fat for fuel? thus we only lose weight once we burn through the Dietary fat each day? or does it all burn at the same time?

Do we eat the Dietary fat on this Diet just to make us feel full so we don't want to eat as much? thus helping to control calorie intake or do we eat it for Fuel? or both? And if we do have to burn through the Dietary fat first to get to the Body fat to lose weight, what happens if we eat to much fat and we don't burn through the Dietary fat, can it cause stalls? what happens to the excess Dietary fat that does not get burned up daily, does it get stored as fat? Is there enough insulin in our bodies to store this excess fat or do we digest it and eliminate it as waste?

I hope someone out there can clear this up for me once and for all... thank you... SLIMQUEST

Anytime you consume more calories than your body uses, no matter what type of food those calories come from, you will not lose weight or you will gain weight. This is why he said to not count calories but they do count and why he said that exercise is not optional. Eat the correct foods in the right porportions for your activity level or get up an move more and have more freedom in what you eat.

When you eat fat, the body is slower to break it down and get it into your bloodstream. So, you are fuller longer and more satisfied with what you eat. You have a steady stream of energy rather than the fast burst that carbs provide. Any fat you don't use is not just flushed magicly from the body it is stored, just the same, as anything else.

the atkins diet is very healthy and cause of that it also cures alot of the illnesses and such that were caused by unhealthy eating

for example your hormones become healthy and such when on atkins so you naturally go to a lean healthy state these 2 youtube videos explain it well

Fat cannot be stored in the body without insulin. That is why low carb is so effective. It keeps insulin levels low so the fat you don't use is eliminated.
