    I planned a couple of days with fitday to help me. I ended up having a half a shake. I had eaten on plan but was still hungery. It knocked my fat down to 60% and upped the protein. I can be happy with the half a shake. I'm gonna plan my meals without them and make sure that they balance out without the shake. I am hopeing some days I'll plan good and won't want it. I did go out of ketosis after that whipped cream it just took hours to happen. I think its too sweet if I add spenda to the whipping cream. What rung is tomato puree on? I've used it before a couple of times in no bean chilli but I didn't know where it fit into the diet. Tomato puree is about the only thing I can find without corn syrup or something stuck in it, am I missing something?



    My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

    1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
    2nd mini goal: 140!
    3rd mini goal:135!
    4th mini goal: 130!

    I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

      Is legal even during Induction, but you need to control the amount carefully because it is quite carby. Plus it misses the fiber you find in tomatoes, so the impact those carbs have on your blood sugar will be stronger. But used with care, it's okay to have it.

      Are you balancing your meals, so that you don't have meals too high in carbs or two low in protein and/or fat? Fiber will help fill you up when you eat, and fat is mostly what will keep hunger away between meals. But if you are hungry, eat something. Small meals that combine fat, protein and a small part of your veggie carbs are the best. I wouldn't worry about calories too much. I noticed that if I don't obsess about them, I have days when I eat a lot and days when I eat very little.         I'll try just eating some extra meat if I feel like a shake then. I'll just track and see how much it adds up to and try to keep it balanced out close to induction numbers. I do want more veggi than 5% some days, not much but some. I included some foods from rung one and two. I can do that without problems. Maybe my calories are just too low for me loose good.

        I had to look up Kimkins. I'd never heard of it. I guess its for people who are afraid to eat fat. My dad has heart problems. His doctor loves him when he's been eating Atkins. He tells him the blood work says he's been eating right, if too much. lol But having done the fat fast and stuff, fat is very important. Just changing my numbers a little with fitday has made huge difference in how well I feel. You can get a fat rush. I've never gotten a sugar rush, but on atkins I can down right perky after eating some fat.

          After talking with Georgiana in that thread ---> http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...-calories.html I increased the amount of protein and I'm not feeling hungry anymore. I now allow myself 100-110g of protein if hunger dictates and 30 net carbs, primarily veggies and favoring high fiber veggies. The calories are higher than before, but I am beginning to see weight loss again after stopping dead still in that department for about a month.

          It is probably too soon to tell if this is really true, but I'm tentatively hopeful.
