Well last night we had our yearly gathering with my in-laws and they decided to cook dinner for us. They knew of my diet because my mother-in-law is also following a low carb diet. I did have some peas and carrots with dinner, and no I am not by that rung yet, but it was just a little.
I opted out of the sugary pie and ice cream (that I brought) and had a handful of berries for dessert with a cup of herbal tea.
Now this is the funny part. They brought some good (and expensive) Frensh wine and offered me a glass. I decided to up my rung change by a day (I was going to go up to rung 5 today). Over the 7 hours I was there I had 2 glasses of wine, not toO bad, the only problem is I am not use to alcohol any more and by the time I was done with half of the first glass I was feeling pretty good.
Now I get home at 3 am and am sober. Sober and hungover! WTF! I am noW the girl who gets drunk off of 2 glasses of wine...I am done with alcohol though, this was my celebration glass(es) and I am going to be moving on next week to Rung 6.
Good thing about it, I resentful started having whey protein shakes in the morning and have lost all of my constipation and water weight form TTOM that was last week. I am down 2 lbs for the first time in a month. Yay protein shakes with extra fiber!
Today we are going to be walking around China town with them and grabbing some Indonesian for lunch.
PS: I failed miserable yesterday with my water intake....I think I got maybe 64oz....
