So I don't own a scale, but I do check my weight on my Wii fit
I pretty much gauge my success by the jeans I can wear. There's this particular brand and style that I absolutely LOVE and have been slowly going down in size:
December - size 24 is a lil snug. Snug like I gotta lay down to zip em and can't really sit with them on. hehe I love the jeans though so when the zipper breaks (gah!) I must replace. Purchase size 22 because there isn't a 24 to be found... can't get it over my hips, but put in closet for incentive.
January - size 22 still umm... nowhere near fitting me.
February - start Atkins
early May - find the size 22 in the closet (forgot I bought them!) and I can zip them if I lay down and suck it all in.
mid-June - size 22 is getting a little loose, go buy a size 20. Can't get them over my hips.
July - hubby says "your pants are too big, do you need money to get new jeans?" Try on the 20 that's been in the closet... can lay down and zip them. YAY! Take his money anyway and buy the 18s. Can work them over my hips but not quite button them. Go on ebay and find a cheap pair in my "goal size" and buy them... hung them up in the closet.
August (today) - size 20 is BAGGY. The 18s ZIP.
I celebrate tomorrow by buying a pair of 16s!

That is a lot of hard work and progress on your part. I think that is a lot of change in a short period of time...way to go. Keep up the good work.
