Hey there!
I signed up for this forum a long time ago.. sometime in the late 90s I'd guess. The Atkins plan is simply the best and worked incredibly for me the first time. I went from 263 to 235 in no time flat. That was a long time ago.. and I've done some form of low-carbing ever since. I"m back up around 260 and am ready to bring things back in check. The issue is, I've started Atkins WOE a few other times and never have seen weight loss anywhere near what it originally was. I even bought some more testing strips and never turned them purple again as I had that first time. Is there a way to seriously kick start the transition from glucose to ketones? The signal that I was in fact burning them had such a positive affect on my progress.. I'd love to be able to get there again.
I'd love some advice from those of you who started and stopped and had success the second (or third or fourth) time around.
thanks so much!
