What did you read that weighs more than what is written in DANDR? Did you read some research that convinced you that high fat, low carbohydrate diets are unhealthy? If you tell us more, we could discuss it.

Here is some stuff you might want to read:

blueberry fat does nothing harmful to the body when you eat low carb fat only does good things for your body it will never hurt your heart in any way

all the fat being bad thing that float's around the world are lies they have brain washed people and killed many people with these lies and saying saturated fat is bad and such when it is a complete lie

it is the unatural man made foods that give us heart disease Insulin, glucose and triglycerides cause heart disease as a result of eating carbohydrates all them crappy refined grains , bread aka refind grains , white flour , margarine , potatos , white corn etc etc

people are soo brain washed around the world about this that they put heart healthy logo things on foods like bread and margarines and they are the foods that cause heart disease anyways heres some info links

Reversing Heart Disease, Heart Attack, Coronary Artery Disease, Stents, LDL and HDL Cholesterol., Lifestyle, and Diet Success Stories.

      YouTube - Big Fat Lies

that utube link shows that the whole saturated fat being bad for you was a complete lie

and yes tran fats are human made and are the only bad fat so dont eat them

and even fruit people argue how can that be bad? well its not as bad as white flour or refind grains and lots of people can eat it but know that man has changed fruit it is no longer the fruit are ancestors ate it is now alot more sweet and full of sugars

if someone does eat carbs its best to eat as nature carbs as possible most berries are still natural and fresh whole oats are not refind so your body could handle and process them better i think

we are not cows we dont have a super stomach with 4 compartments

        Re: fat? why so much?

My understanding of why fat is okay on this diet.

If you are eating VEry low carbs, then your body burns FAT for energy. Some is the fat that you are eating and the rest is burned from your body. If you are eating carbs AND high fat diet, then the fat is floating around in your blood stream and clogging up our arteries and storing on your body (cause you don't need it for energy) and causing a strain on your body. So as long as you are using fat for energy, which is why you store fat..in case of famine, then you are not putting your heart at risk.

          Re: fat? why so much?

high carbs make it very difficult for your body to use and handle fat properly high carbs interfere , mess up lots of things not just fat makeing high carbs not a good idea

you dont need carbohydrates to survive. you do need fat to survive

While this may be true, you do need vitamins and minerals that are only found in nature in foods that also contain carbohydrates.
